Flamenco Fusion – Gypsy Style

Creolization of the Bayou 2012

Tue. Feb. 28^th – Linsey A. Daman, Artistic Director, Cultural Arts Center of St. Louis, LLC presented “Creolization of the Bayou” for Black History Month. Tue. Jan. 24^th 2012 – Linsey A. Daman, Artistic Director, Cultural Arts Center of St. Louis, LLC presented “Feng Shui – Chinese New Year” a program that teaches about finding balance and peace for the New Year while achieving happiness within the home.

Tropical Christmas Brought to St. Louis

Artistic Director, Linsey A. Daman explains holiday advertising and Christmas marketing techniques found commonly in French culture. The basis of this lecture was about the French Caribbean and how Christmas/Seasonal Holidays are a part of their culture and religion.

Open Call Audition – Dancers, Actors, Singers, Etc.

Date: Saturday, October 8^th, 2011 Registration Time: 6pm

Location: Barnes & Noble Crestwood 9618 Watson Rd. Crestwood, MO 63126

The Cultural Arts Center of St. Louis, LLC would like to hold an open call audition for dancers, actors, singers, etc. of all skill levels and styles. Any style of dance, song or short skit may apply. You will be contacted for a follow-up if you made it through the audition. There will be three judges to provide positive feedback to each auditioned.

Requirements:

· Submit an electronic version of résumé and headshot in advance to cacstlouis@gmail.com

· Bring one hardcopy of résumé and headshot (non-returnable) to the audition

· If music is needed for your act, please bring your CD containing a 3-minute or less song for audition (returnable).

Please Note:

· No Audition Fee

· Registration begins at 6pm

· A sound system will be provided

· The flooring is carpeted, please keep this in mind when considering shoes (dance or theatrical)

· No spectators are admitted into the audition; a waiting area will be provided

· Offensive language in the lyrics or interview will be automatic grounds for disqualification
